Veteran Survey 2023
The Office for National Statistics is carrying our The Veterans’ Survey. The purpose of the survery is to learn more about the UK Armed Forces community, veterans and their families. The UK Government wants to make the UK the best place for veterans to live by 2028 and this is your chance to help contribute. The survey will close at midnight on Thursday 2 February 2023.

Government Department Awarded For Armed Forces Support
The Gov Facility Services Limited (GFSL) has been awareded the Bronze level award from the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme in accordance with the Armed Forces Covenant.
The Defence Employer Recognition Scheme is run by the Ministry of Defence, encourages employers to develop and maintain an armed forces-friendly environment. Read how you could become a armed forces friendly organisation here.
Stronger Legal Requirements To Support Armed Forces Personnel
Defence ministers have backed a new legal Duty that requires local councils to reflect the views of the Armed Forces Covenant.
There is now a requirement for greater consideration by locals bodies to provide access to services that support Armed Forces personnel, their families, and the Veterans community. Read the full press release here.
